3 days in Chichibu Itinerary

A little rural reprieve not far from the capital, the city of Chichibu draws visitors with its vibrant landscape and pleasant, low-key urban attractions.

Take a break from the city and head to Mt. Takaosan Hiking Course and Apt Street. Explore hidden gems such as Mt. Mitsumine and Mt. Myogi. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Chichibu: Marugami Falls (in Ogano-machi), Mt. Kumotori (in Okutama-machi) and Mitake Valley (in Ome). There's much more to do: stop by Nakatsu River, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Myogisan Sakura no Sato, and admire the engineering at Takizawa Dam.
