The City of Eternal Flames, the City of Winds

A truly contemporary city criss-crossed by history, Baku offers everything from the modern elegance of the Flame Towers to the medieval UNESCO-listed Old City at its core.
Explore hidden gems such as Museum of Miniature Books and Dreamland Golf Club. Get a sense of the local culture at Juma Mosque and National Museum of Azerbaijan Literature. Dedicate the 14th (Sun) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: buy something for everyone on your list at Ganja Mall, admire the striking features of Baku Railway Station, get a taste of the local shopping with Nizami Street/Torgovaya, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Juma Mosque.

To find photos, reviews, traveler tips, and other tourist information, refer to the Baku trip itinerary builder tool.

In March, plan for daily highs up to 13°C, and evening lows to 5°C.
