Oviedo is the capital city of the Principality of Asturias in northern Spain and the administrative and commercial centre of the region. Kick off your visit on the 7th (Thu): make a trip to Parroquia de San Isidoro El Real and then test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms. Here are some ideas for day two: appreciate the history behind Esculturas Oviedo, enjoy the sand and surf at Playa de San Lorenzo, then partake in some friendly competition at Games, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Catedral de San Salvador de Oviedo, and finally make a trip to Santa María del Naranco. On the 9th (Sat), Head underground at Cueva Del Buxu, then contemplate the waterfront views at Lake Covadonga, then pause for some serene contemplation at Santuario De Covadonga, and finally take in the views from Puente Romano.
