The city of Zaragoza is known as the City of Four Cultures for its interwoven history of Iberian, Roman, Moorish, and Christian influences.Kick off your visit on the 1st (Sun): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Monasterio de Piedra, examine the collection at Emoz, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Basilica de Nuestra Senora del Pilar, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Catedral del Salvador de Zaragoza. Keep things going the next day: explore the world behind art at Museo Goya Coleccion Ibercaja and then steep yourself in history at Palacio de la Aljaferia.

Lleida to Zaragoza is an approximately 1-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Lleida in December, expect a bit cooler with lows of 37°F in Zaragoza. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 2nd (Mon) to allow time for travel back home.
