Seoul

One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Seoul: Suwon (Seonamgangnu Pavilion, Hwaseong Fortress, &more), Pocheon (Korea National Arboretum & Traditional Liquor Museum Sansawon) and Goyang (Aquafield, The Adventure Ice Anchovy, &more). Pack the 11th (Thu) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. Pack the 24th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Korean Folk Village. There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, get to know the fascinating history of Cheonggyecheon Stream, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and shop like a local with Myeongdong Shopping Street.
