Designed by notable English architects and proclaimed India's capital in 1931, New Delhi sits in the middle of a sprawling metropolitan area with a population of over 25 million.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Gandhi Smriti and Hauz Khas Village. Visit Raj Ghat and Birla Mandir Temple (Lakshmi Narayan) for their historical value. Spend the 27th (Thu) wandering through the wild on a nature and wildlife tour. Pack the 7th (Sun) with family-friendly diversions at Adventure Island. There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib, steep yourself in history at Mehrauli Archaeological Park, admire the landmark architecture of ISKCON Temple Delhi, and make a trip to Satpula.
