Separated from Spain by the Strait of Gibraltar, Tangier remains a mix of North African, French, Spanish, and Portuguese cultural influences.
Dar El Oddi and Bleu de Fes will appeal to museum buffs. Asilah Medina and Fondation Lorin are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Venture out of the city with trips to Paradise Beach Kaf Lahmam (in Asilah) and Feddan Park Tetouan (in Tetouan).
