The City of Lakes

Located on both banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis salutes the state's love of the outdoors with numerous lakes, wetlands, creeks, and waterfalls--many connected to one another by a national scenic byway great for sightseeing.
Get some historical perspective at Cathedral of Saint Paul and Watt Munisotaram. Do some cultural sightseeing at Minneapolis Institute of Art and The Museum of Russian Art. Change things up with a short trip to LeDuc Historic Estate in Hastings (about 40 minutes away). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at American Swedish Institute, admire the striking features of St. Mark’s Episcopal Cathedral, get engrossed in the history at Minnesota History Center, and steep yourself in history at Landmark Center.

The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center and Nike Missile Site HM-69. Get some historical perspective at San Pablo Catholic Church and Pasta Pantaleo Signature Gallery. You can fly from Minneapolis to Key Largo in 7.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and shuttle.
