Silute

Šilutė is a city in the south of the Klaipėda County, Lithuania. Step out of Silute with an excursion to St. Jacob Apostle in Sveksna--about 42 minutes away. It doesn't end there: appreciate the extensive heritage of Nemunas River Delta Regional Park and visit a coastal fixture at Ventes Rago Lighthouse.

Nida

Nida is a resort town in Lithuania, the administrative centre of Neringa municipality. Step out of Nida to go to Klaipeda and see Lithuanian Sea Museum, which is approximately 54 minutes away. Spend the 30th (Sat) exploring nature at Curonian Spit National Park. The adventure continues: examine the collection at Thomas Mann Museum, get outside with Raganu Kalnas (Hill of Witches), take an in-depth tour of Ethnographic Fishermen's Museum, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Nida Cemetery.

You can drive from Silute to Nida in 2.5 hours. In January, plan for daily highs up to 31°F, and evening lows to 23°F. On the 6th (Sat), you'll have the morning to explore before heading off to Palanga.

Palanga

Palanga is a seaside resort town in western Lithuania, on the shore of the Baltic Sea. Venture out of the city with trips to Klaipeda (Chetyre Vetra Sculpture, Sculpture The Black Ghost, &more). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Palanga Beach, take in nature's colorful creations at Birute Park, see the interesting displays at Dog Museum, and admire the local landmark of Jūratė ir Kastytis.
