Naha, the capital of Okinawa, has deep roots: Stone Age relics have been found in the city, and through the Middle Ages it rose in importance in the Ryukyu Kingdom.
For shopping fun, head to Agarihama Market or Umanchu Market. Change things up with these side-trips from Naha: Motobu-cho (Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium & Okichan Theater), AEONMALL OKINAWA RYCOM (in Kitanakagusuku-son) and Nakijin-son (Akabaka Beach & Kouri Ohashi). Venture out of the city with trips to Dazaifu (Dazaifu Tenman-gu & Komyozen-ji Temple) and Kumamoto (Kumamoto Castle, Contemporary Art Museum, Kumamoto, & more). Fly from Naha to Fukuoka in 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of ferry and train; or do a combination of ferry and car. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Naha in November: highs in Fukuoka hover around 64°F, while lows dip to 50°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Mon) to allow enough time to take a train to Hiroshima.
