A beautiful and romantic city fit for any itinerary, Paris brims with historic associations and remains vastly influential in the realms of culture, art, fashion, food and design.
Step out of the city life by going to Île de la Cité and Ile Saint-Louis. Get a sense of the local culture at Louvre Museum and Musee d'Orsay. Change things up with a short trip to Versailles's garden souvenirs shop in Versailles (about 34 minutes away). There's still lots to do: explore the wide array of goods at Galeries Lafayette Paris Haussmann, stop by Deyrolle, get a taste of the local shopping with Carrousel du Louvre, and kick back and relax at Paris Plage.

Toronto, Canada to Paris is an approximately 10.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of ferry and flight; or do a combination of flight and train. Traveling from Toronto to Paris, you'll lose 6 hours due to the time zone difference. In July, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Explore hidden gems such as Deauville Beach and Plage du Butin. Musee des Beaux-Arts de Rouen and Ceramics Museum (Musee de la Ceramique) will appeal to museum buffs. When in Honfleur, make a side trip to see Place de la Pucelle in Rouen, approximately Rouen away.
