Arolla is a village in the municipality of Evolène in the canton of Valais in Switzerland.It is situated at the end of the Val d'Hérens south of Sion at 1998m altitude in the Pennine Alps. Attractions like Premier Alpine Centre SA and Chemin des Planetes make great kid-friendly stops. Change things up with these side-trips from Arolla: Sion (Place de la Planta, RealFly, &more), Bisse Saviese Torrent-Neuf (in Saviese) and Heremence (Eglise Saint Nicolas & Pyramides d'Euseigne).
