One of the most scenic beach resorts in Sri Lanka, Hikkaduwa features a number of long white sand beaches with palm trees and gentle waves.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Jungle Beach and Hikkaduwa Beach. Museum-lovers will appreciate Tsunami Photo Museum and Community Tsunami Museum. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Hikkaduwa: Bentota Beach (in Bentota), Galle (Galle Fort & Sinharaja Forest Reserve) and Unawatuna (Made In Ceylon & Mihiripenna Beach).
