One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Pack the 6th (Sat) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's lots more to do: browse the exhibits of Gyeongbokgung Palace, take in nature's colorful creations at Namsan Park, get to know the fascinating history of Cheonggyecheon Stream, and take a stroll through Insadong.

A large coastal city, Gangneung has been historically separated from much of the country because of the long, stretching mountain range that runs parallel to the sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Gangneung: Donghae (Chuam Beach & Mangsang Beac). The adventure continues: engage your brain at Charmsori Gramophone & Edison Science Museum, get outside with Gangmun Beach, kick back and relax at Sacheonjin Beach, and walk around Tongil Park (Unification Park).

You can drive from Seoul to Gangneung in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Thu) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

When traveling from Gyeongju in February, plan for a bit warmer days in Busan, with highs around 48°F, while nights are a bit cooler with lows around 31°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 19th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Jeonju.
