The Renaissance City

Providence has undergone a major upgrade in recent years, transforming from a rough-around-the-edges industrial city into an epicenter of culture.
Visit Old Silver Beach and Narragansett Beach for some beach relaxation. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Providence: Chapoquoit Beach (in Falmouth), Cape Cod Canal (in Buzzards Bay) and Narragansett (Scarborough State Beaches (North and South), Roger W. Wheeler State Beach, &more).
