Bangkok, Thailand to Kyoto is an approximately 9.5-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of car and ferry. The time zone difference moving from Indochina Time to Japan Standard Time is 2 hours. Prepare for colder weather when traveling from Bangkok in March: high temperatures in Kyoto hover around 16°C and lows are around 5°C.
