A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Take a break from the city and head to Scuba & Snorkeling and Aragusuku Beach. Relax by the water at Toguchi no Hama and Sunayama Beach. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Sefa-Utaki and Nakijin Castle Ruins will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Okinawa Peace Memorial Park and Gallery Kiya.
