Tel Aviv, Israel to Hiroshima is an approximately 17-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. The time zone changes from Israel Standard Time to Japan Standard Time, which is usually a 7 hour difference. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Tel Aviv in September; daily highs in Hiroshima reach 32°C and lows reach 24°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) so you can catch the train to Himeji.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Get out of town with these interesting Himeji side-trips: Awaji (Awaji Highway Oasis & Awaji Hanasajiki) and Asago (Takeda Castle Ruins & Ritsuun Gorge). Traveling by train from Hiroshima to Himeji takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. In September in Himeji, expect temperatures between 31°C during the day and 26°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Tue) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

Traveling by train from Himeji to Kyoto takes an hour. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Himeji in September, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit cooler in Kyoto, with lows of 23°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Tue) early enough to take a train to Kanazawa.

Getting from Kyoto to Kanazawa by train takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: drive; or take a bus. Expect a bit cooler weather when traveling from Kyoto in September: highs in Kanazawa hover around 30°C, while lows dip to 21°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 22nd (Sun) to allow time to take a train to Tokyo.

When in Tokyo, make a side trip to see Yokohama Chinatown in Naka, approximately 48 minutes away. Have a day of magic on the 25th (Wed) at Tokyo Disneyland.
