You can drive from Amed to Ubud in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Traveling from Amed in July, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be a bit warmer in Ubud, with lows of 28°C. You'll have a few hours on the 31st (Sat) to wrap things up before traveling home.
