Frederick is a city and the county seat of Frederick County in the U.S. state of Maryland. Bring the kids along to Gettysburg National Military Park and Historic Downtown Frederick. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Frederick: Antietam National Battlefield (in Sharpsburg), Gettysburg (High Water Mark of the Rebellion Monument, Devils Den, &more) and Luray (The Car and Carriage Caravan Museum & Luray Caverns).
