Seoul

— 26 nights
One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get out of town with these interesting Seoul side-trips: Interactive Art Museum (in Gapyeong-gun), Nami Island (in Chuncheon) and Goyang (Hanwha Aqua Planet Ilsan, Ilsan Lake Park, &more). Pack the 13th (Tue) with family-friendly diversions at Lotte World. There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Gyeongbokgung Palace, make a trip to Bukchon Hanok Village, admire the striking features of Changdeokgung Palace, and shop like a local with Namdaemun Market.

For maps, other places to visit, ratings, and tourist information, you can read our Seoul online travel planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Gimpo International Airport, Incheon International Airport and Osan Air Base. In June, daytime highs in Seoul are 82°F, while nighttime lows are 67°F.
