Orléans is a city in north-central France, about 111km southwest of Paris. Venture out of the city with trips to Chambord (Saint-Louis de Chambord & Chateau de Chambord) and Bourges (Musee du Materiel, Cathedrale De Bourges, &more). There's lots more to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Orléans Cathedral, steep yourself in history at Hotel Groslot, pause for some photo ops at Statue Equestre Jeanne d'Arc, and walk around Parc Floral Orleans.
