On the bank of the Mtkvari River and at the foot of Trialeti mountain range, Tbilisi's location has given the city strategic significance since it was founded in the 5th century.
Kids will enjoy Aerial Tramway in Tbilisi and Walking tours. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Tbilisi: Rustavi International Motopark (in Rustavi), Gori (Uplistsiche Cave Town & Stalin Museum) and Mtskheta (Mutso, Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, &more). Having invested heavily in tourism since 2010, Batumi is quickly becoming a go-to destination for visitors looking for a bustling nightlife.
Kids will enjoy Batumi Botanical Gardens and Batumi Boulevard. Venture out of the city with trips to Kobuleti (Petra Fortress, Mtirala National Park, &more), Goderdzi Pass (in Khulo) and Black Sea Arena (in Shekvetili).
