The second largest city in Jamaica, Montego Bay boasts an international airport and a major cruise-line terminal, so it regularly receives a big influx of visitors to the island.

Kharkiv, Ukraine to Montego Bay is an approximately 26-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 7 hours traveling from Kharkiv to Montego Bay. Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Kharkiv in August: high temperatures in Montego Bay hover around 39°C and lows are around 29°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Sat) early enough to take a bus to Ocho Rios.

Traveling by bus from Montego Bay to Ocho Rios takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive. In September, plan for daily highs up to 38°C, and evening lows to 30°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 9th (Wed) early enough to travel to Punta Cana.

In an area boasting beaches that face both the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea, vacations in Punta Cana have been popular with tourists since the early 1970s.

You can do a combination of bus, flight, and shuttle from Ocho Rios to Punta Cana in 10.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of bus and flight; or fly. The time zone difference moving from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Atlantic Standard Time (AST) is 1 hour. In September in Punta Cana, expect temperatures between 36°C during the day and 28°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Thu) to allow time to drive to Puerto Plata.
