Sitting on flat land between two chains of scenic mountains and close to the Tigris River, Duhok has experienced a growth in tourism in recent years.
On the 5th (Wed), buy something for everyone on your list at Mazi Plus Mall, then appreciate the history behind Azadi Panorama, then stroll through Azadi Park, and finally make a trip to Zakho Bridge.. Here are some ideas for day two: tour the pleasant surroundings at Zari Park, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Zawa Mountain, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Rabban Hormizd Monastery.
