Galveston

— 14 nights

The Oleander City

An old colonial city and a busy cruise ship port less than an hour's drive from Houston, Galveston sits on Galveston Island and serves as a popular vacation destination for both domestic and international travelers.
You'll get in some beach time at Surfside Beach and East Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Murdochs. Venture out of the city with trips to Port Arthur (Our Lady of Guadalupe Shrine & The Veterans Memorial Park & Bridge), Beaumont (Spindletop - Gladys City Boomtown Museum, Gator Country, &more) and Quintana Beach (in Quintana). Spend the 27th (Sun) exploring nature at Big Thicket National Preserve. The adventure continues: make a splash at Pirates Bay Water Park, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Sea Center Texas, admire the landmark architecture of The Bryan Museum, and kick back and relax at Stewart Beach.
