You can take a train from Osaka to Hiroshima in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of bus, flight, and train. September in Hiroshima sees daily highs of 32°C and lows of 24°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 27th (Sun) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

The national capital for over a thousand years, Kyoto retains much of the charm of old Japan, boasting numerous temples and shrines that seem completely untouched by the modern world.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Eikando Zenrinji Temple and Walking tours. Shop till you drop at Nishiki Market Shopping District and Kyoto, Festival of the Ages Building Toni Toni. Change things up with a short trip to Onitakeinari Shrine in Fukuchiyama (about 1h 55 min away). There's much more to do: make a trip to Nijo Castle, stop by Gion, steep yourself in history at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Kinkaku-ji.

You can take a train from Hiroshima to Kyoto in 2 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. In September, plan for daily highs up to 33°C, and evening lows to 23°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sat) so you can take a train to Tokyo.

Tokyo holds the status of most populous metropolitan area in the world--a fact you'll find tangible as you walk the bustling streets and explore its diverse neighborhoods and cultures.
Shop till you drop at Pola Museum of Art and Yokohama Minato Mirai 21. Do some cultural sightseeing at Odaiba District and Ginza. Step out of Tokyo to go to Hakone-machi and see The Hakone Open-Air Museum, which is approximately 1h 40 min away. There's still lots to do: get engrossed in the history at Tokyo National Museum, make a trip to Meiji Jingu Shrine, stop by Stockplus, and admire the landmark architecture of Imperial Palace.

You can take a train from Kyoto to Tokyo in 2.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. Expect a daytime high around 26°C in October, and nighttime lows around 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Thu) to allow time to travel back home.
