Built surrounding a 16th-century fortified port, Alghero remains one of Sardinia's most visited sites, rich in cultural and historical heritage.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Spiaggia dell'Arco and Spiaggia La Marinedda. Step out of the city life by going to Dolphin & Whale Watching and I Gatti di Su Pallosu. Get out of town with these interesting Alghero side-trips: Nuraghe Sant'Antine (in Torralba) and La Pelosa Beach (in Stintino). There's still lots to do: stroll through Spiaggia Mugoni.

Buenos Aires, Argentina to Alghero is an approximately 20-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of ferry and flight.
