A charming old city originally founded as a Roman colony, Valencia is the country’s third-largest urban center.
Step off the beaten path and head to Kayaking & Canoeing and Casco Antiguo. There's still lots to do: get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias, browse the eclectic array of goods at Central Market of Valencia, meet the residents at Oceanografic Valencia, and get to know the resident critters at Bioparc Valencia.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands to Valencia is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also take a train; or drive.
