Monument Valley

— 23 nights
Monument Valley is a region of the Colorado Plateau characterized by a cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 1000ft above the valley floor. Take a break from the city and head to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park and Wildcat Trail. Step off the beaten path and head to Moki Dugway and Utah State Route 95. Get out of town with these interesting Monument Valley side-trips: Elephant's Feet (in Tonalea Coconino County), Taawa Park Hopi Reservation (in Kykotsmovi Village) and Chinle (Hope Arch, Mummy Cave, &more). Spend the 14th (Mon) exploring nature at Glen Canyon National Recreation Area. Spend the 15th (Tue) among the memorable landscape of Natural Bridges National Monument. The adventure continues: take a pleasant ride with a tour on horseback, take some stellar pictures from Muley Point Overlook, immerse yourself in nature at The Edge of the Cedars State Park, and see the interesting displays at Goulding’s Trading Post Museum..
