In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
On the 29th (Sun), stroll the grounds of Monumental Cemetery, explore the historical opulence of Castello Sforzesco, then steep yourself in history at Il Cenacolo, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza del Duomo. On the 30th (Mon), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, pause for some serene contemplation at Duomo di Milano, and then wander the streets of Brera District.
