Geneva brings the world to one small city with a huge expat population and the highest number of international organizations in any one city.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Geneva: Bern (Tierpark Dahlholzli, Barenpark, &more), Montreux (Montreux Lakeside & Swiss Riviera Wine Tours) and Terres de Lavaux (in Lutry). In many ways the most modern of Italian cities, Milan is a busy, elegant metropolis with an impressive list of grand palaces, fine churches, and important museums.
Venture out of the city with trips to Greenway del Lago di Como (in Colonno), Tremezzina (Villa del Balbianello & Villa Carlotta) and Collegio dei Padri Oblati Missionari (in Rho). Often described as the city of laptops and lederhosen, Munich is an international center of business, engineering, research, and medicine that still maintains a rich cultural heritage and age-old traditions.
Get out of town with these interesting Munich side-trips: Schloss Hohenschwangau (in Hohenschwangau), Altstadt von Fuessen (in Fussen) and Schwangau (St.Maria und Florian & Schloss Neuschwanstein).
