Along the Dalmation Coast, the city of Dubrovnik has become famous for its pedestrian-only Old Town surrounded by fortress walls, and its historical heft has earned it World Heritage Site status.
Change things up with a short trip to Cavtat Old Town in Cavtat (about 34 minutes away). The adventure continues: wander the streets of Old Town, get engrossed in the history at Rector's Palace, step off the mainland to explore Island of Lokrum, and browse the exhibits of Art by Stjepko.
