Astoria

— 23 nights

Spirit of the Columbia

Astoria, named for famed fur trader John Jacob Astor, resides near the mouth of the Columbia River.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Astoria: Seaside (Arcadia Beach State Recreation Area, Lee Wooden Fishhawk Falls County Park, &more), Grays River Covered Bridge (in Grays River) and Cannon Beach (Ecola State Park, Tillamook Rock Light, &more). There's lots more to do: pause for some photo ops at Astoria Column, snap pictures at Astoria-Megler Bridge, stop by Astoria Sunday Market, and explore the activities along Clatsop Spit.

For photos, more things to do, maps, and other tourist information, you can read our Astoria trip itinerary planning tool.

In June, plan for daily highs up to 66°F, and evening lows to 52°F.
