Lochinver is a village on the coast in the Assynt district of Sutherland, Highland, Scotland. When in Lochinver, make a side trip to see Sandwood Bay Beach in Kinlochbervie, approximately 1h 05 min away. Beauly is a town in the Kilmorack Parish of the Scottish County of Inverness, on the River Beauly, 10mi west of Inverness by the Far North railway line. Kick off your visit on the 14th (Thu): look for all kinds of wild species at Glencoe Lochan, identify plant and animal life at Highland Titles Nature Reserve, and then admire the verdant scenery at Glen Coe. Here are some ideas for day two: tee off at Fort Augustus Golf Club, then go for a walk through Laggan Locks, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Glen Roy National Nature Reserve.
