Step off the beaten path and head to Frauenkirche and Olympic Tower. Get out of town with these interesting Munich side-trips: Landshut (Trausnitz Castle with Chamber of Art and Curiosities & Zisterzienserinnen-Abtei Seligenthal), Augsburg (Church of St. Ulrich and St. Afra & Augsburger Puppentheatermuseum) and Erdinger Brewery (in Erding). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Staatliche Museum Agyptischer Kunst, examine the collection at FC Bayern Museum, fly down the slopes at Wallbergbahn, and walk around Theresienwiese.
