Sitting at the point where three mountain rivers meet, the hill station of Munnar has become known as a tea-growing center in the south of the country.
Step off the beaten path and head to Meesapulimala and C.S.I Christ Church. Take a break from the city and head to Anamudi Peak and Anayirankal Dam Reservoir. When in Munnar, make a side trip to see Ponmudi Dam in Idukki, approximately 1h 20 min away.
