Located high up in the Western Ghats, the hill station of Mahabaleshwar sits above one of the only evergreen forests in the country.
Kick off your visit on the 30th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Mahabaleshwar Temple, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Krishnabai Temple, then steep yourself in history at Mahabaleshwar Hill Station, then pause for some serene contemplation at Holy Cross Church, and finally contemplate the long history of Pratapgarh Fort. On the next day, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catholic Church, then contemplate the waterfront views at Venna Lake, then admire all the interesting features of Laxmi Strawberry Farm, and finally take in the awesome beauty at Table Land.
