Once a sleepy fishing village, Garopaba has managed to retain much of its low-key charm despite the thousands of visitors who flock to its shores.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Atelie Espinha de Peixe and Queijo com Sotaque. Visiting Ferrugem Beach and Guarda do Embau Beach will get you outdoors. Step out of Garopaba with an excursion to Pinheira Beach in Palhoca--about 58 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: soothe aching muscles at Ser Soham Terapias, don't miss a visit to Praca 21 de Abril, enjoy the sand and surf at Silveira Beach, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Siriu Beach.
