Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. You'll get in some beach time at Camusdarach Beach and Silver Sands of Morar. Escape the urban bustle at Glencoe and Nevis Range Mountain Resort. Step out of Fort William to go to Glencoe Village and see Glen Etive, which is approximately 1 hour away. The adventure continues: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Ben Nevis and explore the activities along Loch Linnhe.
