The capital of Wales, Cardiff is a very green city indeed, boasting more green space per person than any other place in the country.
Explore Cardiff's surroundings by going to Big Pit National Coal Museum (in Blaenavon), Folly Farm (in Begelly) and Sculptureheaven (in Rhydlewis). There's much more to do: take a leisurely stroll along Cardiff Bay Wales, take in the dramatic natural features at Gower Peninsula, step into the grandiose world of Cardiff Castle, and get outside with Bay Island Voyages.

Wrexham is the largest town in the north of Wales and an administrative, commercial, retail and educational centre. Step out of Wrexham with an excursion to Ruthin Gaol in Ruthin--about 36 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: don't miss a visit to Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, look for all kinds of wild species at Maes-y-Pant / Marford Quarry, explore the activities along Llangollen Canal, and step into the grandiose world of Castell Dinas Bran.

Porthmadog, known locally as "Port", and since 1974, rendered into Welsh from its former Anglicised form, Portmadoc, is a small coastal town and community in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd, in Wales. Explore Porthmadog's surroundings by going to St Gwyddelan's Church (in Dolwyddelan), Cader Idris (in Dolgellau) and Caernarfon Castle (in Caernarfon). And it doesn't end there: take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Snowdon, steep yourself in history at Portmeirion Village, go for a walk through Llyn Coastal Path, and don't miss a visit to Criccieth Lifeboat Station.
