Bring the kids along to National Air and Space Museum and National Zoological Park. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Washington DC: National Museum of the Marine Corps (in Triangle) and Mount Vernon Trail (in Arlington). Kids will enjoy Central Park and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. The gambling capital of the east coast, Atlantic City is best known for its numerous casinos, colorful boardwalk, and beach.
