Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Kapelle Winkelmatten "Zur Heiligen Familie" and Mountaineers' Cemetery. Take a break from the city and head to The Matterhorn and Lenkerseeli/Spielplatz. Get out of town with these interesting Zermatt side-trips: Parc naturel Pfyn-Finge (in Sierre) and Alprundweg Leiterli (in Lenk im Simmental). Next up on the itinerary: fly down the slopes at Matterhorn Ski Paradise, see the winter wonderland with Matterhorn Diamonds Ski School, stroll through Trockener Steg, and get great views at Gornergrat.
