Modern yet historic, Málaga is a lively city famous for being the birthplace of Pablo Picasso.
Take a break from the city and head to Butterfly Park of Benalmadena and Los Cahorros. Explore hidden gems such as Museo del Vidrio y Cristal de Malaga and CAC Malaga Contemporary Art Center. Explore Malaga's surroundings by going to Las Alpujarras (in Sierra Nevada National Park), Granada (Albayzin & Alhambra) and Playa de la Cala Mijas (in La Cala de Mijas). There's still lots to do: admire the masterpieces at Museo Carmen Thyssen Malaga, explore the ancient world of Teatro Romano, take an in-depth tour of Museo de Malaga, and contemplate the long history of Alcazaba.

Amsterdam, Holland to Malaga is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight; or drive. Traveling from Amsterdam in November, expect Malaga to be a bit warmer, temps between 24°C and 13°C. On the 4th (Wed), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Ronda.

Renowned for its deep gorge, the quaint, whitewashed village of Ronda has preserved its charm as an Andalusian country village.
Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): browse the exhibits of Centro de Interpretacion del Puente Nuevo, then take in the exciting artwork at Scott Simpson Fine Art, and then wander the streets of Old City. On the 5th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: ride a horse along Paddock Paradise Ronda, explore the world behind art at Museo de Arte Contemporaneo, then head outdoors with Parque natural de la Sierra de Grazalema, then take some stellar pictures from Mirador de Aldehuela, and finally explore the stunning scenery at El Tajo de Ronda.

Traveling by car from Malaga to Ronda takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. Expect a daytime high around 19°C in December, and nighttime lows around 7°C. You will have some time to spend on the 6th (Fri) before leaving for Tarifa.

As the southernmost point in Europe, Tarifa is famous for having the continent’s best windsurfing conditions, making it a well-known surfer’s paradise.
Get outdoors at Playa de Bolonia and Benalup Golf & Country Club. Museum-lovers will appreciate Archaeological Ensemble of Baelo Claudia and Museo del Atun. Venture out of the city with trips to Enclave Arqueologico de Carteia (in San Roque), Castle of Jimena de la Frontera (in Jimena de la Frontera) and Zahara de los Atunes (Playa Arroyo del Canuelo & Playa de Zahara). There's much more to do: trot along with Riding Fun In The Sun, enjoy the sand and surf at Los Lances Beach, stroll through Playa de Valdevaqueros, and learn about winemaking at Nilva.

Getting from Ronda to Tarifa by car takes about 2.5 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. Traveling from Ronda in December, expect a bit warmer with lows of 14°C in Tarifa. You'll have a few hours on the 11th (Wed) to wrap things up before traveling to Cadiz.
