Visit Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream for their historical value. Discover out-of-the-way places like Trickeye Museum Seoul and Bukhansan National Park. Explore Seoul's surroundings by going to Mulhyanggi Arboretum (in Osan), Jade Garden Natural Arboretum (in Chuncheon) and Bucheon Botanical Garden (in Bucheon). There's still lots to do: get a taste of the local shopping with Myeongdong Shopping Street, take a stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, make a trip to Changgyeonggung Palace, and get engrossed in the history at Seoul Museum of History.

Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Seoul is an approximately 23.5-hour combination of shuttle and flight. You can also fly; or do a combination of shuttle, taxi, and flight. You'll lose 13 hours traveling from Santo Domingo to Seoul due to the time zone difference. Expect a daytime high around 13°C in March, and nighttime lows around 1°C. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the Republic of Korea, Gyeongju combines a rich cultural heritage with mountain and coastal scenery.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Fri): examine the collection at Gyeongju National Museum, steep yourself in history at Bulguksa Temple, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Golgulsa Temple. Getting from Seoul to Gyeongju by flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight and train; or drive. When traveling from Seoul in March, plan for a bit cooler days and a bit warmer nights in Gyeongju: temperatures range from 5°C by day to 5°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Sat) to allow time to travel to Changnyeong-gun.
