The main town on the largest of Korea's islands, Jeju has a volcanic landscape protected by UNESCO.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Jeju: Seogwipo (Seongsan Ilchulbong & Gwangchigi Beach). Expect a daytime high around 34°C in July, and nighttime lows around 26°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Mon) to allow enough time to drive to Gyeongju.

Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Tue): make a splash at California Beach, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Bulguksa Temple, and then steep yourself in history at Seokguram.
