Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at El Silencio and Playa Costa Verde. Get some cultural insight at Iglesia y Convento de San Francisco and Huaca Pucllana. When in Lima, make a side trip to see Balneario La Punta in Callao, approximately 30 minutes away. The adventure continues: wander the streets of Miraflores, get a sense of history and politics at Palacio de Torre Tagle, don't miss a visit to Circuito Magico del Agua, and take an in-depth tour of Museo Larco.

Toronto, Canada to Lima is an approximately 12.5-hour flight. Traveling from Toronto in March, expect Lima to be much hotter, temps between 32°C and 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) so you can travel to Cusco.

You can fly from Lima to Cusco in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or drive. Traveling from Lima in March, you will find days in Cusco are slightly colder (23°C), and nights are much colder (9°C). You'll have a few hours on the 10th (Sun) to wrap things up before traveling to Sao Paulo.

Don't let the city's nickname--"Land of Drizzle"--dampen your spirits during a trip to Sao Paulo.
Appreciate the collections at Pinacoteca do Estado de Sao Paulo and Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil Sao Paulo. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Our Lady of Aparecida Parish and Catedral da Se de Sao Paulo. Go for a jaunt from Sao Paulo to Guaruja to see Enseada Beach about 1h 30 min away. There's lots more to do: shop like a local with Paulista Avenue, examine the collection at Football Museum, take a stroll through Liberdade, and admire the masterpieces at Museu de Arte de Sao Paulo Assis Chateaubriand - MASP.

You can fly from Cusco to Sao Paulo in 10.5 hours. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Peru Time to Brasilia Time, which is usually a 2 hour difference. When traveling from Cusco in March, plan for a bit warmer days and much hotter nights in Sao Paulo: temperatures range from 32°C by day to 22°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) so you can travel to Iguazu National Park.
