Dotonbori and Osaka Castle are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Museum-lovers will get to explore Osaka Shiritsu Toyo Toji Museum and Hankyu Umeda Gallery. Change things up with these side-trips from Osaka: Mitarai Valley (in Tenkawa-mura), Koya-cho (Koyasan Okunoin, Mt. Toronto, Canada to Osaka is an approximately 19-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight and bus. The time zone difference when traveling from Toronto to Osaka is 14 hours. Traveling from Toronto in November, expect Osaka to be somewhat warmer, temps between 20°C and 10°C.
