Tel Aviv, Israel to Tokyo is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Israel Standard Time to Japan Standard Time is 7 hours. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from Tel Aviv in May since evenings lows in Tokyo dip to 19°C. Traveling from Tokyo in May, you can expect nighttime temperatures to be slightly colder in Kanazawa, with lows of 15°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Tue) early enough to take a train to Kyoto.

The castle around which the city of Himeji has developed represents one of the best preserved in the country, and has been designated as a national treasure and a World Heritage Site.
Venture out of the city with trips to Bizen (Hattoji Furusatomura & Irigyogyo Kyodo Kumiai Manaichi), Okayama Korakuen Garden (in Okayama) and Kunimi no Mori Park (in Shiso).
