With a long history of producing regional wines since the Romans brought grapevines here during the first century, so many people consider Bordeaux to be the wine capital of the world.
Visit La Cote des Basques and Plage des Cavaliers for some beach relaxation. Visiting Corsaires Beach and Plage des Bardoulets will get you outdoors. On the 12th (Sun), learn about winemaking at Chablis Vititours, then make a trip to Chateau Ancy-le Franc, then take in nature's colorful creations at Abbaye de Fontenay, and finally learn about winemaking at La Cave du Connaisseur.
